On Saturday 13 February we held our second virtual ‘Get Together’ which all tenants were invited to.
The Get Togethers are a great opportunity for tenants to meet each other and our staff, as well as offering a chance to find out what we’ve been up to and ask questions.
At Saturday’s event, we were also joined by Professor Ed Ferrari from Sheffield Hallam University who is leading an independent study into Twenty11. They’ve been working with us since 2018 and are helping evaluate our journey, how we deliver our offer and identify any improvements that could be made.
Ed gave a short presentation and explained that his team will be further engaging with all our tenants to ask them to share their feedback with Sheffield Hallam on a confidential basis to help with their evaluation.
Alan, our Chief Executive, spoke to tenants about how our prime aim over the last year has been keeping everyone safe and our services continuing. We’re here to help our tenants to survive and even thrive despite these times.
We’ve also been developing our Aspiration Pot – this is funding that tenants can apply for to help them achieve their goals, such as a training course, travel costs or an interview suit – it’s there to help make the dreams a reality.
The Get Together ended with a fun quiz with a Marks & Spencer’s hamper as the prize.
We’ve received some lovely feedback from some of the tenants who joined us, including: ‘It was great to hear from the CEO and also the university professor. These events allow us to keep updated with the business which is great.’
‘Thank you so much for inviting me to the get together. It was nice to learn where Twenty 11 is heading and what it is hoping to achieve in the coming years.’
‘This is the second get together I’ve attended. I do enjoy it as I get to hear from members of the team and other tenants. It’s always nice to be able to see all the friendly faces.’
We all really enjoyed the event too. Look out for our next one, which will be held in the spring.
