Twenty11 volunteers make a difference for Community Morning

The Twenty11 team at Wycombe Arts Centre

The Twenty11 team had a lot of fun making a real difference at our Community Morning this week. Staff members volunteered to help out at Wycombe Arts Centre, the collaborative arts centre based at the former St John’s Church buildings in High Wycombe town centre. They soon got stuck in with the gardening, and fortunately the sun even came out to say hello!

Social Link run a café at the Centre on Wednesdays and Fridays. Social Link are a local charity who provide social clubs and day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities to meet, develop independence skills and enjoy weekly activities. They were delighted at the help we were able to provide - Victoria, their Chief Operating Officer, said:

"We would welcome you all back again next year. Your team were positive, friendly, wonderful with the members, and got stuck into the activity - we could not have asked for more!"
